A new month has begun, and that means there are new events to attend around town. If you’re looking for some fun things to do around town, check out the following 10 events in San Antonio:

1. World Heritage Festival

When: September 6-10
Where: San Antonio Missions

What: UNESCO cities around the world are celebrating the heritage their sites preserve and share with their communities. The San Antonio Missions are a UNESCO World Heritage site, and this five-day festival is a celebration for the entire city. There will be symposiums, picnics, bike rides and walks, and so much more to provide funding for nonprofit organizations and have fun!

2. Tour de las Misiones Bike Ride & Walk

When: September 9, 8:00 a.m.
Where: Mission Park Pavilion, 6030 Padre Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78214

Cost: $10-$45
What: Take an active part in the World Heritage Festival with a walk or bike ride around San Antonio’s historic missions. There are four different options for you to choose from, depending on how far you want to go. This is a social ride and will go at a kid-friendly pace.

3. Jazz ‘S Alive

4. 33rd Annual Zoo Run

What: Help raise funds by creating a four-person team to run at this wild event. Each team member will run 2 miles (for a total of 8 miles) through the zoo and Brackenridge Park. Not only will you get to burn some calories and donate to a good cause, but you also get admission to the zoo for a fun time!

5. Avenida Guadalupe 36th Annual Parade & Festival

When: September 16, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.

What: Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day (no it’s not Cinco de Mayo) with a parade and festival in the historic westside of San Antonio. After the parade, there will be mariachi and Tejano Conjunto music, food, drinks, games, and lots of fun in the community.

6. Bud Light FoodK Tuesdays

What: You’ve always wanted to try those tasty-looking restaurants on the River Walk, but never had the time or opportunity. Well, now you do. 7. Croctoberfest
